     The study of statistics such as births, deaths, income, or the incidence of disease, which illustrate the changing structure of human populations

    Fertility rate in 2010 (births/woman) is 1.78
  6. What was the total fertility rate for Australia in 1935? How does this compare to other years? Why do you think that it compares this way?

    It was 2.1, The great depression was occurring in that time.
  7. What is the trend in the fertility rate for Australia since 1950?

    The trend is overall reclining, 2008 the baby bonus made it jump a little, yet now it is back to reclining.
  8. What is the average size of a family in Australia? How does that compare to the US?

    The average size of an Australian family is 2.6 and compared to the US they have 2.59
